A recent Los Angeles transplant working in the film and television industry, Chris recently received an MFA in Screenwriting from Boston University where he also taught screenwriting for two semesters. Prior to moving to Boston, Chris volunteered and freelanced with the Austin Film Festival as a reader and long-form analysis writer. Outside of film and TV, Chris has also worked in Information Technology within such industries as accounting and civil engineering as a Systems Administrator. In addition to writing and filmmaking, Chris is also an active photographer and his work can be found here.
In addition to screenwriting, Chris also writes for the stage. His work has appeared frequently at SceneShop, a non-profit arts organization based in Fort Worth, Texas, which has been staging short, dramatic works since 1995. Other ‘Shop performers have included Breaking Bad actor, Charles Baker, stage and screen actor Stephen Ellis, and noted actor and theatre instructor (now at Texas State University), Neil Patrick Stewart, among others .
